Hand Japa Mala Amethyst - Rudraksha Hand Japa Mala

Hand Japa malas are the shortened form of the japa mala or spiritual mala of 108 beads. The Hand Japa mala will only have a total of 27 beads and after every 7th bead is a crystal or gemstone spacer. Four rounds around the hand mala would complete the 108 count.

This hand mala comes in a Khadi (organic cotton) pouch block printed with vegetable dyes and sewn by an NGO in Delhi that provides skills training to underprivileged young women. We support local artisans all around India. We support fair trade.

• This spiritual mala is made from Rudraksha seed which is a significant and favourite one among the devotees of Lord Shiva.
• After every 6 seeds of the Rudraksha, the 7th seed is a crystal spacer called Amethyst  
• Amethyst helps in building the strength required for all forms of healing.
• This short mala is handmade and knotted in the traditional way to allow the seeds to move easily along your fingers.
• The Japa mala ends with an Amethyst guru bead and silk tassel.
• The silk used for making these tassels are handspun on the spinning wheel and is coloured using vegetable dyes.
